Our half-day kindergarten is designed for children ages 4–6 who thrive in a nurturing, mixed-age environment that honors both academic growth and childhood wonder. 1. Will my child be ready for first grade?

Yes. Our program intentionally aligns with Washington State kindergarten standards while delivering them in developmentally appropriate ways.

Children leave our program able to:

  • Recognize letters and letter sounds

  • Read emergent texts

  • Write simple sentences

  • Understand foundational math concepts (number sense, addition/subtraction within 10, shapes, measurement)

2. Is half-day enough?

For most 4.5–6 year olds, yes.
