Our Pre-K class was designed with a little bit old kids in mind! These kids are beginning to learn some independence, are able to express most of their needs and wants and are growing in their love for learning!
During PreK, we spend a lot of time practice life skills and social skills. Everything from dressing ourselves, to pouring our own drinks, to sharing with our friends. But we do start to spend a little more time on academics. Along with daily reading, we have daily practice of the alphabet, counting, and even exposure to reading skills and sight words.
This year, the PreK class will be taught in combination with our new half day Kindergarten class. Class size will still be limited to 12 students, but there will be a wider age range from 4-6 year olds.

The PreK/Kindergarten combo class will have a time for lunch and snack during the day. Students will need to bring their own lunch each day. During snack time, students will be able to finish their lunches or be provided with a snack.
